LD17 Tabling Team Update
The LD17 Democrats Tabling Team (West Side) held an organizational meeting on January 14 to map out plans for 2026. The team unanimously approved a rolling schedule that will provide tabling coverage one full day each week at both the Oro Valley Library and the Oro Valley Recreation Center. Shifts will run in two-hour blocks, staffed by two volunteers, with the day of the week advancing each week to maximize community reach.
Due to ongoing construction, tabling at the Oro Valley Community and Recreation Center will be on hold until the end of February. In the meantime, pop-up tabling will continue at the Oro Valley Library and may also take place at the Oro Valley Farmers Market. Orientation of new tabling volunteers will continue on both sides of the district.
The team also acknowledged that extreme summer temperatures may require a temporary pause in tabling activities, with expanded hours planned to resume in September.
If you’re interested in joining our tabling volunteers, please contact Mel Strijdonk (West Side) at astrijdonk@msn.com or Mariana Spier (East Side) at mariana_spier@hotmail.com. We’d love to have you be part of this important outreach effort!
