The LD17 Tabling Team - Training More and More!

What a turnout! Over 50 people packed our three orientation sessions at the Oro Valley Library the week of September 13th. That included 20 from Sun City, 6 from Marana, 15 from LD17, DOV and ITAA who joined our Oro Valley group, and 12 of our own tabling veterans who came to lend a hand. Sun City and Marana volunteers will head back to their home teams, though a few plan to share their time with Oro Valley too

Our new recruits can't wait to get "out there" and do something for democracy. Some are already tabling with mentors at the Oro Valley Library and the Rec Center, and the schedule is filling up quickly. We're still on morning hours because of the heat, but shifts will move later in the day as temperatures drop, which will be a welcome change. With 16 new volunteers joining our 25 regulars, Oro Valley is in fine shape, and so are the Sun City and Marana teams. October will be busy, and we're ready.
