The Drag Extravaganza - A Beautiful Act of Resistance

On June 25, LD17 Dems held their third annual Drag Extravaganza fundraiser which was a smashing success! Thanks to your enthusiasm and generosity, we raised vital funds to support our mission to get Democrats elected, while also celebrating and uplifting our LGBTQ+ community.

Our three dazzling drag stars, Lucinda Holliday, Justin Deeper-Love and Tasha Simone Starr, delivered unforgettable performances in spectacular costumes that lit up the stage. We were also treated to a sing-along with the Raging Grannies.  One highlight of the day’s performances was the “Ask Me Anything” segment that was humorous and informative. 

We also had some great raffle prizes on offer, and our lucky winners left the event with big smiles and even bigger excitement.

We’re grateful to everyone who came out to support, perform, volunteer, and cheer. Together, we showed that our community is strong, inclusive, and ready to stand up for equality.
