Tabling Team News: Summer Slowdown, Fall Ramp-Up

The Law of Diminishing Returns

Our active tabling has wound down due to the natural effects of summer - higher temperatures and fewer potential signers out and about. That said, individual volunteers continue to carry all three petitions to clubs and events around our area on their own.

Strategic planning for the fall election season has begun, and will include a general meeting of tabling team volunteers once everyone returns from summer vacations. In the meantime, we're asking volunteers to stay current on events and start brainstorming ideas for effective tabling as we shift from a petition focus to voter information.

Together we'll build out our plan for Pro Democracy Voter Information tables, and we'll need to refresh some skills and knowledge along the way. With cooler weather hopefully arriving by late September, we're anticipating many hours of voter engagement in the run-up to Election Day on November 3rd.

For now, it's good that our hardworking volunteers have this window to handle personal business, travel, and get some rest before fall. The biggest job of all is ahead of us - and we'll be ready for it!
