Message From The Chair - Let’s Have a Double Shot!

Last election cycle, we asked, cajoled, pleaded, and implored our voters to vote for just one Arizona House candidate in LD17. The reason? We only had one Democratic candidate, Kevin Volk. In a multi-seat race, each voter has more than one vote. When a voter uses their second vote on another candidate, it can reduce the chances that our single Democratic candidate will finish on top. That “single-shot” strategy worked: Kevin Volk was elected to the Arizona House in 2024 and was the top vote-getter. Thank you!

But now, FORGET WE EVER TOLD YOU TO VOTE FOR A SINGLE-SHOT CANDIDATE! The reason? We have two great Democratic candidates in 2026. Both Kevin Volk and Holly Lyon are running for the two House seats in Legislative District 17. We now ask, cajole, plead and implore you to vote for TWO Democratic House candidates, so that both of our terrific candidates can join the Arizona House next year. Please spread the word among your family, friends and associates to vote for TWO Democratic Arizona House candidates in LD17 in November. You’ll be glad you did.
