LD17 Tabling Team Update

Our Tabling Team is off to a strong start in 2026! On January 26, we launched our new schedule with a full day of tabling at the Oro Valley Library. Teams of two staffed the table in two-hour shifts from 9 am to 5 pm, engaging with 41 community members. Visitors asked great questions, took materials, and most signed our petitions. Several winter visitors were especially curious about our work. The day went smoothly and confirmed that this new approach is a winner.

Next up: an all-day tabling shift at the library on Tuesday, February 3, followed by Wednesday, February 11, and rotating forward each week. We’re also grateful to the husband of one of our new volunteers, who has volunteered to transport our tabling materials as needed. That brings our team to 19 volunteers—plus one angel!

Thanks to volunteer suggestions, we’re also launching a new offshoot: “LD17 Tabling Lite.” This streamlined effort will set up a small table on Saturday mornings at the Steam Pump Ranch Farmers Market to help people register to vote, check registrations, and sign Justice for All and candidate nomination petitions. Soon, we plan to expand to city parks during weekend sports events. This simple, positive, and upbeat presence will help make LD17 a familiar and active part of the community. All in all, it’s a great start to 2026.
