LD17 Tabling for Democracy

Welcome to our table!  During last year’s election cycle, Legislative District 17 Democrats had teams of volunteers set up “Pro Democracy” tables primarily at the Oro Valley Library and the Oro Valley Community Recreation Center.  The tables were intended to provide voter information and candidate literature. 

Fast forward to May 2025.  In these times of attacks on the basic foundation of our country, our Democracy, our Constitution and the Rule of Law, we are seeing a renewed need for outreach to the public… therefore the return of the Pro Democracy tables. This time, we LD17 volunteers are back to offer support and resources to members of the public who want to turn feelings into actions.  First we are here to listen.  What worries you the most?  How is the current political turmoil affecting you, materially and emotionally? 

We (and that includes you) are not powerless! Besides a willing ear our volunteers can offer many kinds of practical information and avenues to help each person find what they need to not only cope but be productive in this era.  Stop by our tables and see what’s new in the Pro Democracy movement.
