Be a Part of the Don’t BuyIt Campaign

The Don’t BuyIt economic disobedience campaign is an all-volunteer effort created by the Boycott and Build Team of Indivisible Tucson Action Alliance (ITAA). A similar national movement—We Ain’t Buyin’ It—has now been adopted by Indivisible.org. Together, these campaigns invite all of us to use our economic power to help protect our democracy.

The Don’t BuyIt campaign began in Tucson as a focused effort to boycott large corporations that support Trump and his harmful policies. Originally planned as a November action centered around Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the campaign quickly raised a bigger question: Why stop there?

If money is power, then spending—or choosing not to spend—is power.

You can follow the campaign through the Boycott and Build Team’s updates in the ITAA monthly newsletter. But now there’s even more to explore. Their articles on Substack offer deeper insights, practical tips, and everyday strategies for making the strongest impact with the purchasing power we all share.

Let’s be disobedient together—smartly, strategically, and powerfully.
