Meet Taylor, LD17’s Young Activist
Meet Taylor Glaser, a rising leader in LD17 Democratic politics with an impressive track record of activism and organizing.
Born in Washington state to a military family, Taylor lived in four states before settling in Fort Huachuca in 2013. Her interest in politics sparked early—while watching The West Wing as a child, she assumed “everyone was a Democrat.” The 2012 Sandy Hook tragedy deepened her engagement, as she began following political news and noting stark differences in party views on gun control.
In 2018, Taylor organized the Sierra Vista March For Our Lives, an experience she describes as the foundation of her career in public service.
Taylor graduated from the University of Arizona in 2024 with degrees in anthropology and criminology. During college, she interned with the Arizona Democratic Party, gaining experience in finance, organizing, and fundraising under the mentorship of Deputy Finance Director Monica Tang. In 2024, she served as Finance Manager for the campaigns of Kevin Volk and John McLean. Today, she is Campaign Manager for Leighton Rockafellow Jr. (Tucson Ward 6) and Finance Director for Mo Goldman’s CD6 campaign, thriving on the challenge of battleground districts.
With strong skills in organizing and finance—and a talent for connecting with people—Taylor has found her calling in raising funds to support candidates, campaigns, and causes she believes in. She also serves on LD17’s volunteer fundraising committee, Project 2026.
Though deeply committed to Democratic values, Taylor remains open to dialogue and compromise, believing that “the best solutions move forward” through collaboration. Smart, driven, and genuinely kind, Taylor represents the future of our party—and a model of leadership we can all be proud of.
